Fleetwood Church was an operating church from 1881 to approximately 1974. It played an integral role in the Brandy Station community by serving as not only the town church but, a cultural hub where locals would gather for community events. Fleetwood Church, however, was constructed on top of what used to be the Brandy Graveyard, which served as both the town cemetery and a burial site for soldiers who fought in the Battle of Brandy Station.
